What is Creative Commons?
Creative commons is a non-profit organisation that enables the sharing and use of creativity and knowledge through free legal tools. They have produced standardized licensing for images and other creative works that work alongside copyright.
By using a CC (creative commons) license creators/owners can distribute their work with less restrictions then are normally associated with full copyright, so instead of ‘full rights reserved’ CC allows for ‘Some rights reserved.
